This is an executive professional programme licensed by the University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) in Rzeszów, Poland — one of the leading IT countries in the EU. Students can study in Japanese and complete an MBA/DBA equivalent programme.
In Japan today, there is a critical shortage of professionals who can simultaneously understand both "information technology" and "management" and make decisions accordingly—driven by the rapid advancement of generative AI, digitalization, and industrial transformation. Since its founding, UITM has maintained a distinctive practical education philosophy that integrates IT and management. In recent years, the university has adopted an educational strategy of "deeply integrating" generative AI rather than prohibiting it. In the era of generative AI, information gathering, organization, and structuring can now be delegated to AI. Because of this, human value is shifting toward "depth of thinking," "quality of judgment," and "the will to envision the future." In this program, we thoroughly utilize generative AI for "preprocessing"—extensive reading, literature research, and structuring. This is not for the sake of efficiency. It is to allow you to concentrate your time and consciousness on learning that only humans can do: thinking, reflection, future visioning, and meaning-making.
Rather than blindly accepting AI outputs, you judge and choose through your own will. Through this repeated practice, your "vessel of consciousness" is strengthened.
